ATLANTIC CITY – Air space restrictions will be in effect within a 10-mile radius of the Atlantic City Airshow, “A Salute to Those Who Serve,” Wednesday, Aug. 15 and during practice days Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 14-15.

To ensure air show safety for spectators and participants, restrictions will be in effect for drones, parasailing, kite flying and any other airborne devices. Any drones or other devices used in violation of this restriction will be confiscated and their operators arrested.

The restriction has been the practice for the past 20 years and continues with the compliance of all municipalities from Longport to Brigantine. The exact restricted area runs from 23rd Street in Longport to S. Roosevelt Boulevard in Brigantine.

Practice and Air Show times are as follows:

  • 4-6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14
  • 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, and
  • 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16.
