EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – Atlantic County residents are challenged to get their creative juices going and create artwork out of trash or recycled materials.
The Atlantic County Utilities Authority is partnering with the Atlantic County Library System on the 9th annual Recycled Art Contest, which gives new life to materials that otherwise may end up in a landfill.
Entries must be submitted to an Atlantic County Library System branch with a completed entry form attached to the artwork between Oct. 2-31.
Entries will be displayed at the library branches through Oct. 31. Artwork will be transported to ACUA to be entered for judging.
Awards will be presented and artwork will be showcased at ACUA’s America Recycles Day event being held 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18. Raindate is Sunday, Nov. 19.
