GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – The 27th annual Hansen Foundation Charity Golf Tournament will tbe held Tuesday, Sept. 19 at Ron Jaworski’s Blue Heron Pines Golf Club. The tournament is presented by Applied Underwriters.
There are a limited number of remaining spots available for golfers. Registration is available online at www.hansenfoundationnj.org.
There is a morning and afternoon shotgun start. Breakfast and registration begins at 6:30 a.m. for those participating in the morning group, with the golf teeing off at 7:30 a.m. Lunch and awards follow at 12:15 p.m. The afternoon wave begins with lunch and registration at 11:45 p.m., followed by a 1:15 p.m. shotgun start. Dinner and awards will commence at 6:15 p.m. The dinner also includes a silent auction featuring several unique and valuable auction items.
As part of Applied Underwriters sponsorship, qualified winning foursomes from the Hansen Foundation golf tournament will invited to compete in the 72-hole Invitational National Finals to be held May 1-5, 2024, at the famed Johnny Morris (Bass Pro Shops) Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Missouri. The Hansen Foundation assists those in need to access substance abuse treatment, provide sober living, and other therapeutic services to help individuals recover and reclaim their lives. Proceeds from the golf tournament will be directed at these essential recovery programs as well as scholarships for individuals who cannot afford or access treatment and safe, supportive recovery housing.
