Provided/A special thanks to the Tighe Middle School Student Council and William Ross Elementary School third grade Spirit Patrol Leadership Club for collectively packing 85 bags of donated food for the JFS Turkey Drive. This year.

MARGATE – With generous support from the community, Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties was again able to provide traditional Thanksgiving dinners to residents in need. During October and November, JFS collected donations to provide 675 meals, including nearly 100 bags of food still available for families in need during the holidays.

With contributions from community members as well as businesses, organizations and groups including: Mark Arbeit & Company, BAYADA Home Health Care, BHHS Fox & Roach, Board of Jewish Education, CJ Adams Company Insurance, Eugene A. Tighe School, Galloway Auto & Tire Center, Girl Scouts, Hartman Home Team, JCC Preschool, J.S. Goldstein Funeral Home & Monuments, Mainland High School Cheerleaders, Margate Playgroups Plus, Marketplace Realty, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc., Oasis Property Group, OceanFirst Bank of Linwood, Optimal Health Chiropractic & Physical Therapy, Pamela’s Health & Harmony, Platinum Real Estate, TD Bank of Atlantic City, William H. Ross III School and Visiting Angels who hosted collections to help put a turkey and all of the trimmings on the table for many residents this Thanksgiving.

“At JFS, we continue to be thankful for the tremendous support provided by businesses, organizations, residents and so many others who donate to our annual turkey drive. JFS was committed to provide a hearty holiday meal to everyone who turns to us for assistance and our agency continues to be there for people in need throughout the year,” JFS Chief Executive Officer Andrea Steinberg said.
