The Margate City Public Library has free tickets available for the annual New Year’s Eve concert being held Sunday, Dec. 31 at the Dominick A. Potena Performing Arts Center, 7998 Monmouth Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The concert is sponsored by the library and the City of Margate.

The concert features the Bay Atlantic Symphony under the leadership of Music Director Jed Gaylin. “A Magical Musical Margate New Year’s Eve” includes solo performances by opera soprano Venessa Potena and cellist Rose Bart.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Two tickets are available per household, and they must be picked up within two weeks at the library, 8100 Atlantic Ave., or they will be passed on to others. If you make a reservation and are unable to attend, return the tickets to the library so others may fill the seats.
