Provided/Residents and teens worked together to create bags featuring inspirational sayings and drawings.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – Seashore Gardens residents and their buddies from the Kulanu School of Jewish Studies recently came together for a program on deeds of loving kindness. The group decorated canvas bags and filled them with toiletries and necessities for women housed in local shelters. They also completed a crafts project, creating floral cards for residents to send to family, friends and staff.

Better Together is a program of the Board of Jewish Education of Atlantic and Cape May Counties. It connects SGLC residents with Jewish teens from the Kulanu School of Jewish Studies, with programs centering around Jewish values.

The teens chatted with their buddies as they decorated the bags.
