VENTNOR – Defend Brigantine Beach and the Downbeach Alliance are hosting a Champagne Sunday Brunch 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sunday, April 21 at Provenza restaurant in the Ventnor Plaza shopping center on Wellington Avenue.
The event is a fundraiser and meet and greet with the theme “Saving the Planet Does Not Mean Destroying the Ocean.” The organizations advocate against offshore wind turbines and “industrialization” of the ocean.
Cost is $50 per person, $80 per couple, and includes raffles, gift baskets, speakers and live music. Seating is limited.
