LONGPORT – A portion of Atlantic Avenue will be closed to parking Tuesday and Wednesday, May 7-8 to allow a contractor to re-stripe the parking lanes.
Residents and visitors did not care for the new back-in angled parking configuration on the ocean side of Atlantic Avenue between 24th and 25th avenues that was put in place last year when the roadway was resurfaced, so the lanes will be re-striped to a pull-in configuration.
Parking will be restricted on the block starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 7. Work will be done starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 8.
Parking will be permitted once the re-striping is completed.
