Longport Trash & Recycling Schedule
LONGPORT – After recently adding trash to the borough’s recycling guidelines, the borough wants to inform residents about the newly revised regulation.
Residents and visitors are being reminded they should not put trash and recyclables on the curb before 6 p.m. the evening before collection day.
Longport’s trash and recycling is normally collected on Mondays.
During the summer season, recycling is collected every week from May 25 through Sept. 14. Cans must be removed by the day following collection.
Those in violation of this provision may be subject to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500 for each offense. Each and every day in which a violation of any of the provisions of this article exists shall constitute a separate offense.
