The Longport Public Library has announced programming for the month of April.

Tighe School Art Exhibit

Students from the art classes of teacher Debbie Sterling of the Eugene A. Tighe Middle School in Margate will display art throughout the months of March and April. The exhibit is only viewable during Library open hours.

Longport Needlers

Every Monday 10 a.m. to noon. Bring your needle/crochet craft project for a time of crafting and socializing. The event will take place in-person in the Longport Commission Chambers. Call 609-487-7403 for more information.

Weekly Take Home Craft for Kids

Stop by Longport Public Library each week for a take home craft bag. Crafts include doorhangers, bracelets and more. Most crafts include all materials required. For ages 3-8, adult assistance may be required for some crafts. Call 609-487-7403 for more information.

Friends and family of all ages are invited to participate in Family-Friendly Bingo. Multiple rounds with different patterns and at least one winner in each round. Struggling to download a library app on your cell phone or tablet or trying to figure out how to read eBooks on your Kindle? Library staff will hold a workshop to explore all the different applications that the library offers, from ebooks to audiobooks, and digital magazines and newspapers. Tuesday April 26, 2 p.m. – Adult Craft – Water Color Art presented by Ocean City Art Center
