Mark Wahlberg will be on hand for the official grand opening of Wahlbergers’ at Ocean Casino Resort, Friday, June 21.
ATLANTIC CITY – Visitors to Ocean Casino Resort’s one-year anniversary celebration kicking off Friday, June 21 can get an up close an personal look at Mark Wahlberg’s six-pack during a special outdoor track training program being held Saturday, June 22.
“Ocean invites our guests and the community to mark our one-year anniversary with a week-long celebration of events, live entertainment, raffles and giveaways,” Ocean’s Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President Mike Donovan said. “We’re kicking things off on the casino floor, so guests can experience some of our new offerings and amenities, then taking the celebration to the Boardwalk with fireworks, and continuing the festivities into the week with other exciting programming.”
Guests will have a chance to meet co-owner Mark Wahlberg as he celebrates the official grand opening of Wahlburger’s Atlantic City, which features fresh ground beef burgers, signature sandwiches, crispy fries, and more in a casual dining atmosphere.
Founded by Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg and brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, the restaurant venture is the subject of an A&E reality show. Although it’s been open for the last year, the official grand opening will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 21. A limited meet and greet, photos and Wahlburgers giveaways will be available to the public.
On Saturday, F45 Training, one of the fastest growing fitness franchises in the world, is running a free outdoor track training event led by F45 athletic director Cory George with a special appearance by Mark Wahlberg. The workout will feature a live DJ and include the same functional training techniques taught at F45 studios. Registration for the track event will be held at 8 a.m. with the session starting at 9 a.m.
The festivities continue with an after-party, noon to 6 p.m. DJ Nicky Romero will be on hand to celebrate the Ocean Casino HQ2 Beachclub’s one-year anniversary. For tickets visit, theoceanac.com.
Anniversary events continue throughout the week with live entertainment, food samplings, ribbon cuttings and a birthday cake and champagne toasts.
Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27. A viewing party is also planned at Topgolf Swing Suite, where you can play virtual golf, hockey, football and carnival games while viewing the fireworks.
Grammy nominated singer Charlie Wilson performs at Ovation Hall 8 p.m. Saturday, June 29, and a drawing will be held at 11 p.m. and three grand prize winners will get their choice of winning of a Mercedes C300, CLA250, or GLA250.
The Ocean Casino Resort, the tallest building in Atlantic City, opened last year with a leading loyalty program, 15 restaurants, shopping, Exhale Spa, three pools, a beach club and HQ2 Nightclub.
