Margate Education Foundation Spaghetti Dinner has some of the best chefs in the area.

MARGATE – The Margate Education Foundation will hold its annual Spaghetti Dinner 4-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 at the Eugene A. Tighe Middle School. Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, the dinner will be a drive-through event again this year with meal pickup at Door 29.

Orders must be placed in advance and paid for on Venmo at tinyurl.com/4zx8farp

Individual dinners are $12 and a family style option that feeds up to six people is $42. Meals include salad, bread, pasta and meatballs.

The event is one of the MEF’s biggest fundraisers of the year and proceeds fund the school’s eighth grade dance.

The event includes a wine cork pull for bottles of wine valued at $15 or more. Tickets for the wine pull are $10.

Volunteers are needed to prepare and package meals for pickup, and donations are needed to make the event successful. Items needed include bottles of wine for the Wine Cork Pull, spaghetti, canned crushed tomatoes, salad dressings and grated cheese for the dinner.
