NORTHFIELD – With new COVID-19 cases continuing to steadily decline, there has been a reduced demand for vaccinations and boosters. As a result, beginning Tuesday, March 15, the Atlantic County Division of Public Health will modify its vaccination clinic schedule.

The free vaccination and booster clinics will be available

  • 9 a.m. to noon each Tuesday in Northfield at 201 S. Shore Road, and
  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month in Hammonton at 310 Bellevue Ave.

Appointments are not necessary. Both sites offer the Johnson & Johnson and Moderna vaccines for residents 18 years and older as well as the Pfizer vaccine for adults and children ages 5 and older. Those seeking booster shots should bring proof of prior vaccinations.

“We are encouraged by the decrease in COVID-19 cases but recognize the virus is still among us. We must now learn to live with it and that includes protecting ourselves with vaccinations and other measures,” Atlantic County Acting Public Health Director Kara Janson said.
