NOAA Coastal Flood Warning in effect.

Looks like the weather the next few days presents a great opportunity for indoor activities you’ve been meaning to get to, such as cleaning out closets, or reading a book.

Moderate coastal flooding will inundate streets with the afternoon high tides today and Tuesday and make certain roadways impassable.

Heed the advice of public safety professionals and stay indoors and do not drive through flood waters. In addition to rain, the water covering roadways is salt water and it will destroy the undercarriage of your vehicle. Move your vehicle to higher ground.

If you must drive, make no wake to prevent damage to homes and businesses.

Rip tides indicate it’s not a good day to go to the beach, so stay out of the ocean.
