MAYS LANDING – Spencer’s and Spirit Halloween donated more than 400 new and gently-worn professional clothing items to Atlantic Cape Community College’s Campus Closet at the Mays Landing campus Thursday, Jan. 25.

Spencer’s and Spirit Halloween’s Egg Harbor Township corporate headquarters, which has been in operation locally since 1977, recently hosted the donation drive during the month of January. The drive yielded an impressive number of men’s long-sleeved shirts, men’s dress pants and shirts, men’s suits, women’s two-piece suits and belts. The company holds donation drives throughout the year as a way to give back to its surrounding communities.

“Every month we host a donation drive and we select either one or multiple organizations to work with,” Spenser Community Relationa Manager Leigh said in a release.

The Campus Closet provides lightly-worn professional clothes from men’s business suits, shirts, pants, ties and shoes to women’s dresses, skirts, blouses, jackets, shoes and accessories for students currently enrolled at Atlantic Cape who may need of casual business attire for professional interviews, class presentations, events and various college-related activities.

The Campus Closet is located in room G-223 on the second floor of the Student Center in G Building and a dressing room is available in room G-217. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to noon and 2-5 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays, and 9 a.m. to noon and 3-5 p.m. Wednesdays.
