April Fools Half Marathon, Sunday, April 7, 2024.
DOWNBBEACH – Parking and boardwalk restrictions in place in the Downbeach towns of Ventnor, Margate and Longport for April Fools Half Marathon being held Sunday, April 7, starting in Atlantic City.
In Ventnor, no parking restrictions will be in effect between 4 a.m. and noon. Vehicles will be towed.
- South Washington Avenue (both sides of beach block)
- South New Haven Avenue (both sides of beach block)
- Atlantic Avenue ocean side from New Haven Avenue to Fredericksburg Avenue
- No bicycles are permitted on the Ventnor boardwalk between 8-11 a.m.
In Margate, there will be no parking along the entire length of the beach side of Atlantic Avenue.
In the area of the Margate Library Water Station, parking will be restricted on the bay side of Atlantic Ave. No Parking signs will be posted in the area and vehicles that interfere with the race will be removed.
In Longport, there is no parking on the south side of Atlantic Ave from the Margate border to 24th Avenue, and on the north side of Atlantic Avenue from 35th Avenue to 33rd Avenue. The restrictions will be in effect from 4 p.m. Saturday, April 6 to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7.
