LONGPORT – Local residents welcomed Santa to town and lit the holiday tree and menorah Friday, Nov. 30. Santa arrived at the gazebo on 33th Avenue with an escort from the Longport Volunteer Fire Department.

Santa approached the gazebo welcoming children and their parents and grandparents. They all sang a round of “Jingle Bells” before throwing the switch on the colorful tree and the menorah.

Everyone enjoyed refreshments at the Community Center afterward.
